Yaletown

Formerly a warehouse district of textile shops and train yards this north end of False Creek has experienced some serious revitalization since its rebirth as host of Expo '86. Yaletown has been transformed into one of Vancouver's hippest areas, filled with side walk cafes, trendy restaurants, a thriving night life scene and intimate boutique hotels. There are several warehouse loft conversions and many newer concrete high rise buildings with great views looking South and West towards the setting sun.
